Specialist SEN Teacher

Could your lesson be the highlight of a young person's day? We're seeking a specialist SEN Teacher for a Year 9 class of learners working at a Year 7/8 level. Starting this September, you'll follow a primary teaching model-covering Maths, English, PSHE and Humanities-in a full-time, small-class environment. The role will run for one term initially with a strong likelihood of becoming long-term or permanent. Key Duties: Plan and teach creative, accessible lessons to meet diverse learning needs Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils facing emotional and behavioural challenges Foster consistency, positive behaviour, and re-engagement with learning Track and evaluate pupil progress across curriculum and personal goals Liaise with colleagues and specialists to ensure tailored support Requirements: QTS/QTLS and experience in SEN or SEMH education Ability to deliver a cross-curricular primary model to older learners Excellent interpersonal skills, patience and adaptability Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) Eligible to work in the UK Why Work with Randstad?
