Customs Clerk - Folkestone Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (DOE) Full-Time | Office-Based | 5 Weeks Holiday A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Customs Clerk to join a well-established haulage company based in Folkestone, specialising in chilled, frozen, and general cargo. You'll be joining a friendly and professional team, managing import and export customs clearances from start to finish. Working Hours: Shift pattern of 8:00am-5:00pm or 10:00am-7:00pm Key Responsibilities: Manage customs clearances for both imports and exports from start to finish Submit declarations using ASM Sequoia Liaise with clients, drivers, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely processing Ensure full compliance with HMRC regulations Requirements of a Customs Clerk: Minimum 2 years' experience in a customs role, based in the UL Proficient in ASM Sequoia software Strong understanding of clearance processes and documentation Incoterms experience an advantage Familiarity with Transit procedures and IPAFFS systems - desirable Benefits: Competitive salary (£28-34k depending on experience) 5 weeks' holiday Opportunity to be part of a successful and growing transport business If you have the experience and you're looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced logistics environment, we'd love to hear from you.
