Join to apply for the Director/ Vice President, Investment role at Keppel (Fund Management & Investment) Job Purpose This is a key role in Keppel Fund Management & Investment, Infrastructure team that focuses on our investment activities in the regional market and managing the end-to-end investment process. The key responsibilities include originating potential deals, structuring, and executing deals. The main objective is to contribute to maximizing risk-adjusted investment returns for the business. Key Responsibilities Refine investment strategy for One Infrastructure: terms, geography, opportunity universe, etc. Analyze, originate, structure, negotiate, recommend, and close new deals, including due diligence and legal documentation, in line with the Investment Strategy mandated by the Investment Committee. Monitor key markets to source suitable investment opportunities and recommend strategies for long-term risk-adjusted returns. Build and maintain relationships with investment partners, service providers, brokers, and market participants in targeted key markets. Assist in generating market awareness of Keppel’s investment mandate. Plan and implement strategies for asset management and investment exits. Responsible for periodic reporting, including quarterly investor, annual, and bespoke reports. Benchmark asset performance against the market to ensure investment return targets are met. Provide assistance to other groups within Keppel Fund Management and Investment as needed. Guide and mentor junior team members. Job Requirements 10-12 years of relevant investment experience in fund management or corporate finance/M&A, specializing in power, energy, and/or infrastructure. Strong academic qualifications. Proficient in market and industry research related to infrastructure or private equity assets. Hands-on, detail-oriented, with strong financial modeling skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Independent, critical thinker with excellent analytical skills. Effective in making investment and asset management decisions. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and oral presentations. Willing to travel frequently to key markets. Driven, adaptable, and personable with high energy and flexibility.
