Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Mid Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 5 years in specialty License: Compact or state license required Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT required, AHA certifications required Must-Have: No first-time travelers; must have trackable work history. No cancellations in work history required. Description: The role requires a skilled Sterile Processing Technician. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of experience. Prior lead or educator experience is preferred. Special equipment experience is required, including sterilizers, Sterrad machines, and ultrasonic cleaners. COVID-19 and flu vaccinations are required, with medical or religious exemptions considered. Must be based over 65 miles from the job site. Candidates must have completed a minimum of 2 years in specialty. Manager/Supervisor references will be required for contract clearance. Orientation will be held for 8 hours and is non-billable. Resources who worked as permanent staff must be separated for 1 full year before returning as travel staff.
