Job Title: Technologist Job Specialty: Computed Tomography (CT) Job Duration: Not specified Shift: Varied 12 hours Saturday and Sunday 6am to 6pm, Monday overnight from 6pm to 6am Tuesday morning Guaranteed Hours: 36 Experience: Minimum of 2 years current Imaging/CT/X-Ray experience License: NH License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT)(R) Certification Must-Have: - Ability to work independently and effectively with patients and physicians - Proficiency with IV skills - Working knowledge of MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, OEC C-arm is highly preferred - Bachelor's Degree is preferred Job Description: - Perform all diagnostic procedures under the guidance of the CT clinical supervisor with comprehensive knowledge to produce consistent, high-quality exams. - Maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel and prioritize patient care. - Conduct necessary procedures on patients of all age groups, recognizing that the patient's needs are paramount. - Wear personal scrubs of any color. - Work with Siemens Somatom 40 slice CT scanner and Carestream X-ray equipment. - Manage electronic medical records with HMS Medhost. - Serve a patient population ranging from newborn to geriatric. - Complete necessary licensing through the relevant board for medical imaging and radiation therapy.
