Senior SAP EPM Solution Architect / Lead Consultant POSITION DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW As a Senior Solution Architect/Lead Consultant in the EPM practice, you will play a key role in shaping our SAP EPM strategy, leading solution design, and delivering complex projects to our customers in relation to accounting and financial close through to financial planning and analysis. RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS Delivers consulting solutions against contractual and project requirements, advises, and defines financial processes and solutions by helping to solve business and technical challenges leveraging the SAP EPM platform. Capture business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Provide specialist subject matter expertise in line with the solution. Takes total ownership of the delivery of solutions and value to the customer by leading projects and project teams. Acts as a specialist within the consulting group by attaining and sharing best practices, knowledge, and skills. Leads by example and mentor less experienced team members to support their professional development and personal performance. Maintains up-to-date knowledge and zest for the latest trends and utilises this understanding to bring innovation to NTT DATA Business Solutions development. Achievement of revenue and utilisation targets. Habitually demonstrate NTT DATA Business Solutions values and behaviours Engage in continual personal development and training. Delivers against a resource plan which drives personal and company utilisation. Identifies further revenue opportunities. PERSONAL PROFILE – SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES To be considered for this role, you will have a strong background in Finance and Accounting with good understanding of accounting principles, financial & operational planning, and management reporting processes, along with a demonstrable technical expertise and experience with SAP EPM solutions. Strong understanding of financial consolidation and statutory reporting is required, along with experience in monthly and annual financial reporting processes and a good understanding of the Record to Report process. Must-Have: 10 years SAP EPM experience Experience in the delivery of multiple financial planning and analysis projects, including experience with large enterprise customers. Strong understanding of financial consolidation and statutory reporting, reflected in the delivery of multiple consolidation solutions. Strong experience (minimum of 3-4 projects) in SAP Analytics Cloud or equivalent solution experience, with in-depth skills configuring Planning models. Proven experience in the delivery of SAP Group Reporting or BPC Financial Consolidation projects (minimum of 2 – 3 projects) Strong knowledge of accounting, budgeting, and forecasting principles Nice-to-Have: SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) experience developing Planning and consolidation models. Relevant qualification, a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting, finance or business, professional accounting certifications such as CIMA or ACCA. SAP PAPM SAP Disclosure Management and/or similar tools in the market SAC integration with BW, Datasphere, SuccessFactors or S/4HANA Good understanding of cross-module integration with other SAP solutions such as ECC or S/4HANA modules SAP Business Data Cloud, Databricks PERSONAL PROFILE – EXPERIENCE 10 years of consulting experience in SAP EPM technologies, with recent experience working with SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Group Reporting Successful delivery of 8-10 full project lifecycles on medium to large-sized projects. Previous experience as a Technical Lead or Technical Architect within an SAP EPM environment. Production of high-quality project and bid documentation, plus QA review of project documents. Proven client-facing skills with experience delivering presentations to clients. Experience in leading and coordinating integrated workshops and requirements gathering exercises.
