Private Client Solicitor – E18 A long-established and respected East London law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their expanding team. The firm specialises in conveyancing (residential and commercial), litigation, family law, and private client work. This is a full-time, permanent role with salary dependent on experience. The Role We are looking for an experienced legal professional to handle a broad range of private client matters. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in: Estate administration (including probate and intestacy cases) Applications for grants of representation Drafting and submitting inheritance tax returns Preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare) Handling Court of Protection deputyship applications This is a client-facing role requiring professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Advising clients on Wills, trusts, probate, estate planning, and related matters Drafting and reviewing legal documents in compliance with current legislation Managing a varied and independent caseload Liaising with third parties such as HMRC, financial institutions, and other legal professionals Keeping up to date with developments in private client law Advising on inheritance tax and related financial implications Requirements Experience in private client work (either post-qualification or equivalent legal executive level) Strong drafting and legal analysis skills Excellent verbal and written communication Organised and capable of managing multiple active files Empathetic approach to client service Sound working knowledge of relevant laws, procedures, and best practices
