Clinical Contract Specialist Location: Hammersmith, 2/3 days in the office Company: A global biotechnology company About the Role We are seeking a Clinical Contract Specialist to join our Legal team, working closely with Commercial Counsel to support Respiratory and Procurement teams with legal and contractual needs. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a growing organization dedicated to delivering innovative healthcare solutions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Draft, review, negotiate, and manage a variety of commercial agreements, including but not limited to: Master Services Agreements (MSAs) Work Orders (WOs) Change Orders (COs) Bought-In Component Agreements (BICs) Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) Other supplier and partner contracts related to respiratory device development and operations Provide general legal and administrative support, such as tracking contracts through a contract management system and managing work allocation. Ensure all contracts comply with internal policies and acceptable risk levels; highlight issues, recommend solutions, and escalate when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, R&D, and Program Management—to ensure legal documents align with business goals and timelines. Maintain and update contract templates and assist in improving contracting processes and tools. Coordinate with external legal counsel when needed and support compliance with relevant legal and regulatory standards. Respond to legal and contractual queries from business stakeholders and assist with related tasks as required. Requirements and Experience Bachelor's degree required; legal qualification preferred. Previous experience supporting a legal or contracts team—ideally in the life sciences, medical device, or technology sectors. Strong familiarity with global clinical trial site agreements and budget negotiations (experience with U.S. sites is a strong plus). Demonstrated expertise in managing and negotiating commercial contracts, particularly MSAs, WOs, COs, and NDAs. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to handle multiple priorities under tight deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a pragmatic and solution-focused approach. Adaptable and collaborative, comfortable working in a small team setting. Ability to explain complex legal terms clearly to non-legal stakeholders. Proactive and self-directed, with a track record of driving process improvement. Fluent in English. London-based preferred.
