Logistics Analyst

Job: Logistics Analyst Duration: 6-12 months Location: Samlesbury Hourly Rate: £21.38 PAYE or £28.63 Umbrella Working Arrangements: - Fully on-site Working Hours: - (06.30hrs – 19:00hrs Mon – Thurs, 06:30pm – 12.30pm Fri). Key Responsibilities : Order book management and maintenance. Release of kits & expedition of internal & external supply chain shortages, including obtaining forecasts & driving supply chain improvements where required to support delivery of scheduled commitments to the customers. Provision of active support to the resolution of problems affecting the ability of operations to work to the workload plan. Support effective reviews to facilitate supply chain performance and ensure any logistics actions are closed in a timely manner. Skills & Qualifications : Experience within a logistics planning and/or supply chain role and awareness of procedures and processes, including an awareness & understanding of Export Control IT proficient, including the use of MS software such as outlook and excel Good communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage and work well with a number of cross functional stakeholders Experience within a Manufacturing and supply chain environment and an awareness of governance within a such environments Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems Working knowledge of EMS (our Typhoon SPEC Tracking system) If you would like to be considered for this role please don't hesitate to click apply or call Sam Pierre-Louis on 0161 383 8022 for more information.
