Procurement Officer

Our client, a leading organisation in the defence sector, our currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their team in Stevenage for an exciting interim opportunity. Duration: 6 months Location: Stevenage Working Pattern: 1-2 days onsite As a Procurement Officer , you'll be the focal point between internal project teams and external suppliers, ensuring the timely processing of requisitions, maintaining delivery schedules and resolving invoice queries. Key Responsibilities: Processing electronic and manual requisitions Raising RFQs and purchase orders using SAP Managing delivery forecasts and supplier communication Analysing data in Excel to support supplier selection This role is pivotal in supporting spares and repairs procurement activities, monitoring supplier performance to support key business operations.
