Business Development Lead This is a fantastic opportunity to drive strategic partnerships and innovation impact across the academic and public sectors! Key Responsibilities: Engage with academic teams to understand and support translational research. Identify and develop new business prospects and external partnerships. Maintain and grow existing business development relationships. Support commercialisation and partnership negotiations. Design and deliver training on business development and innovation for academic staff. Represent the university at innovation and commercialisation events. Promote the institution’s research and innovation profile externally. Person Specification: PhD in Health/Life Sciences or equivalent industry experience. Strong track record in business development and academic-industry collaboration. Experience in public health/life sciences product development. Proven ability to influence and negotiate at senior levels. Location: University-based, London Contract Length: 3–6 Months Rate: Equivalent to £50,000–£55,000 per annum (daily rate) The role aims to boost engagement with industry and innovation partners through impactful cross-sector collaboration.
