Job Description
My London-based NHS Trust client, is seeking an experienced and strategic Interim Head of Learning and Development to lead the Trust’s education, training, and staff development functions during a critical period of transition. This short-term leadership role will act as a vital bridge, ensuring continuity and momentum in shaping a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence in patient care. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of the Trust’s Learning and Development Strategy. Ensure compliance with statutory and mandatory training requirements. Oversee the Learning and Development Team, Apprenticeships, and Mandatory Training functions. Design and manage career pathways, talent management frameworks, and leadership development programmes. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimise education funding and partnership opportunities. Champion digital learning and innovation in training delivery. Support organisational culture change and staff experience initiatives. Represent the Trust in regional and national education and workforce forums.
