Senior Designer

This wonderful international development and aid charity is looking for a creative and experienced Senior Designer for a 12-month maternity cover. From printed brochures and donor mailings to engaging video content and social media ads, you'll work across a wide variety of formats. I am looking for someone who can not only create beautiful design but also understand what drives people to act. This is a hands-on role in a friendly, supportive team where creativity is valued and ideas are always welcome. Responsibilities: Create strong visual content for print, digital and social media – including videos, gifs, banners. Bring fresh ideas to brainstorming sessions, keeping the audience at the heart of every creative choice. Manage your own projects and deadlines, keeping everything running smoothly. Be a brand guardian, making sure everything they share feels consistent and true to who they are. There will also be occasional work with external printers and suppliers to bring designs to life in print. The appointed candidate will have: Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite – especially InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. Confidence with video editing and creating short-form content for platforms like Instagram and TikTok. A solid understanding of layout, typography, colour and visual storytelling. Knowledge of Figma (or open to picking it up quickly).
