Public M&A Lawyer

Flex Legal are an online platform connecting law firms and in-house legal teams to lawyers and paralegals for a flexible, on-demand service. We have an exciting new opportunity with our client, a VC-backed, London-based, AI-powered technology company, to hire an experienced Public M&A lawyer for a specific project For this project, you will be using your Public M&A background and knowledge to help them interpret signals identified within time narratives and create maps that link references to documents and/or procedural steps to business context. Tasks will involve looking at highly anonymised summaries of time narratives and being asked to contextualise matters. This project will appeal to someone interested in understanding the underlying legal processes and what drives certain things to happen in transactions, rather than being the most technical M&A lawyer. Responsibilities Contextualising highly anonymised summaries of time narratives. Interpreting signals within time narratives. Creating maps linking document references and procedural steps to the business context. Skills Required Strong Public M&A background. Interest in understanding underlying legal processes and transaction drivers. Key details: Start Date/Duration: 11th August - 15th August (1 week only, at least initially). Potential for further work. Time: Full-time, 9 am - 5:30 pm (flexible). Working Pattern: Entirely remote. IT Equipment: You will use your laptop (IT equipment is not provided).
