Job Title: Industrial Disease Solicitor Location: Manchester (Hybrid/Remote options available) Salary: Competitive (DOE) About the Role: Our client, a prestigious law firm with an established Industrial Disease team, is looking to expand its department by hiring two solicitors to join their growing practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for talented solicitors who are passionate about industrial disease law and want to be part of a dynamic and supportive team. As an Industrial Disease Solicitor , you will handle a broad range of claims, including work-related illnesses, asbestos-related diseases, and other industrial disease claims. Key Responsibilities: Manage and handle your own caseload of industrial disease claims, ensuring cases are dealt with efficiently and to the highest standard. Provide legal advice to clients on industrial disease matters, with a focus on claims arising from work-related exposure. Liaise with experts and third parties, including medical professionals and insurers, to gather evidence and support claims. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies. Work collaboratively within the team to ensure the smooth running of cases and provide high-quality client service. Skills & Experience Required: Qualified Solicitor Experience in industrial disease claims is essential, with knowledge of asbestos-related diseases being particularly valuable. Military disease claims experience would be highly advantageous. Strong client management skills and a commitment to providing excellent service. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying complexities effectively. A proactive and team-oriented approach, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving. Desired Attributes: Ability to commute to the Manchester office twice a week (not-essential).
