POWWR is seeking an Implementation Manager to join our project management team. As our Implementation Manager you’ll be responsible for managing project timelines, coordinating stakeholder communications, and performing business analysis activities to support the successful implementation of both client-facing and internal IT projects and change initiatives. What will you be doing? As an Implementation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in translating business needs into actionable plans, fostering collaboration among diverse teams, and ensuring that all projects are delivered with precision and purpose. You’ll be expected to combine your strong organisational skills with sharp analytical thinking, ensuring that each initiative not only meets its goals but exceeds expectations for quality and efficiency. Your responsibilities will span both strategic oversight and hands-on coordination, requiring a proactive mindset and an ability to communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level. Project Management Activities Lead project planning, scheduling, and tracking using Teams, SharePoint, and MS Office. Maintain documentation (RAID logs, status reports, meeting actions). Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align deliverables and resolve blockers, ensuring accountability. Escalate risks and issues as needed. Document lessons learned to improve frameworks and best practices. Business Analysis Gather and document requirements via interviews, workshops, and data analysis. Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows with Product team. Identify gaps between current and target states. Support Sales and Account Management in maintaining product backlogs and prioritising with Product Owners. Stakeholder Engagement Serve as key client contact during implementation. Facilitate workshops, sessions, and status updates. Liaise between technical and business stakeholders. Communicate updates and assist with presentations and reports. Sector-Specific Focus Understand UK utilities regulations (Ofgem, smart metering, billing systems). Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards (Ofgem, GDPR). Support integration projects with third-party energy suppliers or brokers. Contribute to continuous improvement based on sector trends and customer feedback. What are POWWR looking for? You should have a strong track record of building relationships, managing projects, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset are essential, as is the ability to navigate complex regulatory landscapes. Experience with UK utilities, smart metering, or billing systems will be highly valued, as will a commitment to fostering innovation and supporting clients throughout their digital transformation journeys. Technical Demonstrates familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies. Proficient in utilising tools such as Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, MS Office Suite, and Visio. Has a strong understanding of data privacy and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR). Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while balancing competing priorities. Analytical Exhibits excellent attention to detail and advanced problem-solving abilities. Adept at interpreting data and deriving actionable insights. Communication Communicates clearly and concisely in both written and verbal formats. Able to adapt messaging appropriately for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
