Non- Financial Risk Officer

Contract position: Non-Financial Risk Officer Location: Milton Keynes| 6 month contract | Hybrid working Currently looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Non-Financial Risk Officer to support the delivery of the new Provision 29 requirements under the 2024 Corporate Governance Code. This role plays a key part in strengthening the risk management framework, with a focus on material controls across all risk types. Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to workstreams focused on identifying and assessing material controls Design and implement processes for control inventory and effectiveness monitoring Define system requirements for centralised control and issue repositories Support the development of reporting for senior committees and the Board Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed new methodologies Assist in training, documentation, and dry-run reporting ahead of 2026 implementation Support the development and implementation of a structured issue management process, ensuring effective tracking, escalation, and resolution What we’re looking for: Experience in non-financial risk, governance, or internal controls A proactive self-starter who thrives in dynamic environments and is quick to identify and act on opportunities for improvement or innovation Strong analytical and documentation skills Ability to work cross-functionally and engage with senior stakeholders Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and risk systems is a plus Apply now or reach out to learn more!
