Employment Solicitor – West Midlands Location: West Midlands (Birmingham, Wolverhampton, or surrounding areas) Salary: £40,000 – £65,000 DOE Job Type: Full-time, Permanent The Opportunity A well-regarded law firm in the West Midlands is seeking a talented Employment Solicitor to join their established legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a passion for employment law to develop their career within a supportive and growing firm that advises both employers and employees. Key Responsibilities: Advising clients on a full spectrum of employment law matters (contentious and non-contentious) Handling a varied caseload including unfair dismissal, discrimination, redundancy, TUPE, and breach of contract claims Representing clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and settlement negotiations Drafting employment contracts, staff handbooks, and company policies Advising on disciplinary and grievance procedures Working closely with HR professionals, business owners, and senior employees Keeping up to date with employment legislation and regulatory developments Candidate Profile: Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales Minimum 5 years' PQE in employment law (more senior candidates also encouraged to apply) Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-care skills Able to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision Experience advising both employers and employees is advantageous The Firm Offers: Competitive salary and bonus structure Hybrid working options Excellent progression opportunities within a collaborative team Ongoing training and support A friendly, professional working environment If this is of interest then please apply today!
