About the Role Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the Occupational Therapist will play a crucial role in designing and delivering evidence-based, individualised treatment plans. This includes supporting residents with a wide range of neurological conditions such as: Neurodegenerative diseases Functional Neurological Disorders (FND) Traumatic brain injuries Frontal temporal dementias Long-term and complex care needs Each resident is unique, and the successful applicant will approach every individual with compassion, dignity and respect—just as they would a member of their own family. Key Responsibilities Deliver person-centred occupational therapy interventions based on thorough assessment and clinical reasoning Collaborate with residents and colleagues to identify goals and develop bespoke care plans Contribute to the service’s multidisciplinary approach to care and rehabilitation Participate in ongoing discussions around resident interventions and wellbeing Maintain accurate and timely clinical records Support a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement What We’re Looking For The service values personal qualities just as highly as clinical expertise.
