We have exciting opportunities for Curing Skilled Operators to join our team at Pilgrim's Europe - Redruth We are looking for a motivated candidate to who will play a vital role in delivering high-quality products while supporting our commitment to excellence, safety, and continuous improvement. Key information: Competitive Rates of Pay Contract Type : Full-Time Permanent Shift : Monday to Friday Hours : 05:30 am - 14:30 pm As a Skilled Operator, you will: • Supply product in line with customer specifications and production procedures. • Manage your own work and ensure productivity, safety, and quality are consistently maintained. • Be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of roles depending on business needs. • Maintain a tidy, safe working environment and contribute to continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities • Organise and execute tasks to meet production schedules, quality, and safety standards. • Handle raw materials and perform manual tasks efficiently. • Ensure correct product flow from storage to processing areas, maintaining traceability. • Record product movements and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. • Support new product introductions and yield optimisation. • Work within Technical, Health & Safety, Quality, and Food Safety guidelines. • Suggest and support improvements in processes and procedures. Skills & Knowledge • Strong understanding of food safety, H&S procedures, and quality standards. • Ability to communicate clearly, work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with equipment, process monitoring, and QAS systems. • A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement. Qualifications: • Food Safety Awareness • Health & Safety Awareness • COSHH procedures • SSOW • HACCP • ILM Level 2 course • NVQ Level 2 • Additional training as necessary
