Senior Accountant

Our clients are an exceptional firm of International accountants and they are expanding. Due to the growth plans, they are seeking a ACCA/ACA Qualified Corporate Accountant to join them in their offices in the city. The Qualified Senior Accountant will be seeking to progress in their career and build on this role. Predominantly you will be handling the accounts for a number of corporate clients, so corporate exposure is essential, dealing with high net worth companies. The ideal person will have proven experience within a similar role, have a full practicing certificate and practical experience dealing with an array of work within a high value portfolio. The candidate will currently be working as a Senior in a TOP 20 Practice and you will be looking for a client-facing role working with an exciting client base with great opportunities for progression. Fast-track promotion to a partner / director for .the right person who demonstrates excellent accounting skills and abilities. Responsibilities will include: * Assisting partners with the planning of audit, tax and accounts preparation * Assist with the development and training of junior staff * Liaising and developing relationships with business owners * Prepare consolidated acccounts under IFRS 102 IFRS 105 * Preparing / reviewing statutory accounts for HNI, limited companies and partnerships of high value. * Acting as first point of contact for a high net woth portfolio of clients * Assisting clients with cash flow and budgeting * Completing / reviewing VAT returns * Preparing tax returns * Assisting clients with day to day queries * Ad hoc project work – Forensic audit and litigation support * Supervising junior members of the accounts team and delegating work Position Requirements * ACA or ACCA Qualified * Experience working within a TOP 20 practice is essential * Corporate exposure * Accounts preperation under IFRS 102, !FRS105 * Broad background and experience of accounts, tax and audit * Full UK driving licence is preferable * Working from offices in the City of London * * Position Remuneration * Remuneration depending on experience * CPD * Local gym membership * Client referral bonus scheme * Staff mentoring * Promotion - Fast track NO SPONSORSHIP IS OFFERED, PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE FULL RIGHTS TO WORK
