CNC Operator

This position is being advertised by Swift Temps Ltd, trading as an Employment Agency. We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our dynamic client in Halesfield, Telford . The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC machinery, ensuring precision and quality in the fabrication of components. This role requires a strong understanding of logic controllers, basic maths, and the ability to work with hand tools. Responsibilities Operate CNC machines to produce high-quality components according to specifications. Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication. Set up machines for various production runs. Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assemble parts as required, utilising hand tools and welding techniques when necessary. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Operator . Strong understanding of logic controllers and their applications in CNC machinery. Proficient in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
