Accounts Senior

TPF Recruitment is working with a respected and growing accountancy firm in Reading, currently seeking an Accounts Senior to strengthen their team. This is a key role offering exposure to a broad range of clients and responsibilities across financial reporting, tax compliance, and cloud-based bookkeeping. This opportunity would suit a qualified (ACA/ACCA/AAT) or experienced accounting professional looking to step into a client-focused position with real scope for development. Responsibilities: Preparing year-end financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Supporting the production of management accounts for key clients Preparing and submitting corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT returns Handling day-to-day bookkeeping, primarily using Xero and QuickBooks Guiding and supporting junior team members, helping them develop their technical skills Requirements A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a UK accountancy practice ACA or ACCA qualified would be an advantage. AAT qualified and qualified by experience will be considered for candidates with circa 5 years' relevant practice experience. Solid understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance Experience using cloud accounting platforms A collaborative approach and a commitment to excellent client service Benefits Salary circa £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualification status.
