Experience * Technical Designer/ Product/ Engineering * Experienced with designing furniture/joinery * Sheet materials – MFC/MDF/Plywood/Plastics * Fixtures and fittings / Ironmongery * Joinery – Traditional and new methods * Steel/metal fabrication * Lighting * Textiles/upholstery * CAD design using * Solidworks (Essential) * SWOOD Design (Desired) * SWOOD CAM (Desired) * AutoCAD/Adobe Suite * CAM / CNC processes * Proficient with general IT function – MS Suite, Outlook * Reading and working to architect drawings * Maintaining drawing registers and drawing status changes Role * Project based work * Working with internal project managers to create models of units for production * Production of drawings for client review * Production of drawings for internal manufacture * Production of drawings for sub-contractor use * Lead a full scope of design work per project and work collaboratively on others
