Accounts Assistant - Hybrid - Birmingham Central Gleeson Recruitment Group is currently working alongside a Business Services Organisation based in Birmingham as they look to recruit a Accounts Assistant covering all areas of transactional finance. Principle Accountability's are as follows: Cover all transactional finance Processing and allocating payments inc BACS, CHAPS, Cheques, & Direct Debits Dealing with allocation queries Credit Control Daily bank journals and reconciliation Supplier reconciliation Accounts Payable Queries from centres and other departments Providing input to continuous improvement within the departmentRequirements Proven experience of bank recs and cash allocation, accounts payable and accounts receivable System skills including intermediate excel. Excellent communication skills and ability to identify issues and use initiative to solve problems Self-motivated team player with willingness to help others and go above and beyond their formal role.
