Job Title: Bookkeeper Location: Ashford Salary:£30,000 - £35,000 per annum (dependent on experience) Job Type: Full time/permanent We are looking for a Bookkeeper on behalf of our Ashford based client. The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in completing VAT returns and have a comprehensive understanding of leading accounting software, including Xero and Quickbooks. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough and precise completion of VAT returns for various clients. Maintain detailed and up-to-date financial records utilising accounting software such as Xero and Quickbooks. Monitor and reconcile accounts with supporting documentation to ensure accuracy. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and ensure best practices. Provide insightful financial reports and analysis as required. Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end financial closing activities. Stay updated with industry trends and regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.Key Requirements: A minimum of 5 years' experience in completing VAT returns. Proficient knowledge and experience with accounting software, particularly Xero, Quickbooks, and similar platforms. Relevant qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred but not essential)
