Systems Engineer

IT Systems Support Engineer Location: Abergavenny | Full-Time, Permanent Are you an experienced IT professional with a strong background in supporting infrastructure and manufacturing systems? We're recruiting for an IT Systems Support Engineer to play a key role in maintaining and enhancing IT operations that support high-quality, timely production within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical support for manufacturing systems and associated infrastructure Maintain and manage server, desktop, and network environments Ensure optimal system performance with minimal disruption Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and network security Develop reports and minor applications to resolve operational issues Collaborate on system strategy, planning, and improvement initiatives Mandatory Skills & Experience: Windows Server 2012 and newer Windows 10 / 11 support Active Directory management SQL Server (2008): administration and query writing Hands-on hardware maintenance (servers and PCs) Ability to work independently and proactively Desirable Skills: Application development using C# / .NET Dynamics AX 2009 functional experience Microsoft 365 administration This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and enjoys working across both infrastructure and system support.
