Freelance Site Manager – Groundworks Package (Industrial Unit) Northampton | ️ New Build Industrial Unit | Contract Until October 2025 Freelance Day Rate (DOE) | Start ASAP We’re looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee groundworks and civils on a major industrial new build in Northampton. Role Overview: You’ll take day-to-day responsibility for the groundworks package, reporting to the Project Manager and ensuring safe, quality, and efficient delivery on-site. Duties include: * Overseeing subcontractors for all civils/groundworks elements * Managing daily site activity, safety, and progress * Ensuring quality control and compliance with design/spec * Coordination with engineers and logistics team * Supporting toolbox talks, RAMS reviews, and site documentation ✅ Requirements: * Proven experience managing groundworks packages * SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid * Strong communication and on-site coordination skills * Ability to drive progress while maintaining health & safety standards
