Assistant Buyer

Assistant Buyer Assistant Buyer wanted for this leading house builder who specialise in building homes of distinction across the South East. Boasting a 5 year pipeline of work they have built a fantastic reputation as a leading developer who focus on real high quality housing. Now due to their continued expansion n they are now seeking an Assistant/Trainee Buyer to join the team helping deliver these fantastic family homes. Duties * Supporting the procurement team with the scheduling of materials ensuring compliance with Procurement Procedures and quality assurance requirements and regulations to ensure costs are controlled and projects complete on time, within budget and to quality standards * Liaise with suppliers to ensure a cost effective supply of materials for projects and contracts to ensure completion is within budget * Work closely and cohesively with other departments across the company to ensure achievement of targets Experience needed? * Previous experience working for either a house builder/developer or builders merchant as a Trainee or Assistant Buyer * Able to work with minimal supervision to meet time sensitive deadlines * Capable of working on multiple task simultaneously and prioritise workloads A very competitive salary and package is on offer for the successful candidate so don’t delay in applying for this exceptional career opportunity
