Lathe Setter Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Lathe Setter Operator to join our clients busy team on a permanent basis. Our client manufactures quality products in a variety of stainless, carbon & nickel alloys in the Telford area. Previous experience operating manual lathes/machines is essential. Skills required: The ability to monitor the running of machines, ensuring they are loaded/unloaded with minimal down time Capstan and manual lathe setting & operating Working to tight tolerances ensuring quality standards are met using vernier & micrometer gauges Able to read engineering machining drawings This role may also involve performing other day to day duties as part of the team including grinding, thread rolling and packing. Working hours: Monday to Friday 07:30-16:00 (30 minute lunch break) An immediate start is available for the successful candidate.
