IT Specialist Taunton TA1 3SX Permanent | Full-Time £28,000 – £32,000 per year ️ Monday to Friday | Day Shift | No Weekends In-Person Role Join a Growing Team as an IT Specialist! We're looking for a hands-on, solutions-focused IT Specialist to support day-to-day IT operations and deliver first-class technical support. What You'll Be Doing: * Deliver 1st and 2nd line support for hardware, software, and network issues * Set up and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other equipment * Manage user accounts, access control, and onboarding/offboarding * Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve faults efficiently * Maintain accurate IT asset records and software licenses * Support backups, antivirus tools, and regular system updates * Document IT processes and help create user-friendly guides * Contribute to wider IT projects and system rollouts What You’ll Need: * 2 years of experience in a similar IT role * Good knowledge of Windows OS and Office 365 * Hardware troubleshooting and setup skills * Clear, confident communication and a customer-first mindset * Strong time management and multitasking ability * A positive attitude and eagerness to keep learning Work Environment: * Office-based with occasional travel to other local sites * Some out-of-hours work may be required for system updates
