Job Description

Our client is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components for a range of applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Design and develop electrical systems, schematics, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar) * Perform load calculations, circuit analysis, and component selection * Create detailed technical documentation including wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and test procedures * Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers, and manufacturing teams to ensure design compatibility * Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL, ISO) * Support prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting * Evaluate design performance and implement improvements * Assist with cost estimation and project planning * Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field * [X] years of experience in electrical design (adjust based on level) * Proficiency in electrical CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SolidWorks Electrical, etc.) * Solid understanding of electrical theory, power distribution, and control systems * Knowledge of industry codes and standards * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
