Data Analyst – Contract | £450–£550pd | Outside IR35 | Hybrid (3 days onsite – Central London) 6-Month Initial Contract | Banking Sector We’re looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join a challenger banking client on a 6-month contract basis. This role offers the opportunity to work on meaningful projects that inform high-level business decisions across a complex financial environment. Key Details: Rate: £450–£500 per day IR35: Outside IR35 Duration: 6 months (potential extension) Location: Central London (3 days onsite, 2 remote) Sector: Banking/Financial Services Key Responsibilities: Analyse large and complex datasets (e.g., customer behaviour, sales trends, market data) Create insightful reports, dashboards, and visualisations using tools like Power BI or Tableau Design and run efficient SQL queries to extract and manipulate data Develop and maintain BI tools and solutions to support decision-making Perform data validation and quality control to ensure integrity and accuracy Deliver ad hoc analysis and actionable insights to stakeholders Required Skills & Experience: 3 years in a Data Analyst role within complex business environments Strong SQL skills and experience with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Experience of Python or R would be a plus. Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing business-relevant conclusions Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience in the banking or financial sector is a strong plus
