Job Description
Business Analyst – Delegated Authority 6 months contract (Outside IR35) Hybrid (To be in the client's London office 3 days a week) We are currently working with a prestigious London Market insurance firm that is looking for a Business Analyst with strong Delegated Authority experience. This need arises as the client aims to strengthen controls, visibility, and governance across their DA operations. They are seeking a BA who understands the regulatory and operational nuances of Delegated Authority within the London Market. The right candidate will be comfortable navigating bordereaux processes, coverholder relationships, compliance frameworks, and binding authority agreements. You will be required to work across stakeholders (Underwriting, Compliance, Operations, and IT), interpret regulatory requirements, and translate them into actionable insights, process changes, and system requirements. The client is keen on embedding sustainable DA governance structures and reporting mechanisms and needs a BA who can be a driving force in that journey. Skills and Experience: Experience working in the London Insurance Market is essential Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with Delegated Authority frameworks, bordereaux, and coverholder management Familiarity with DA governance, reporting, and Lloyd's requirements Strong stakeholder management across Compliance, Operations, and Underwriting teams Proven experience documenting ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ processes Able to liaise between business and IT stakeholders to ensure regulatory needs are technically met Confident with producing clear, structured documentation and analysis artefacts Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise under pressure If you, or anyone in your network, would be a good fit – please apply now with your CV to start the conversation!
