Senior Compliance Officer (Compliance Testing) London (Hybrid) 6 Month Contract Via Umbrella Lorien's leading investment banking client is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to join the existing team on an initial 6 month contract. Required Skills: Professional qualification and prior experience in a Compliance role in conducting thematic reviews, controls testing in a financial services environment. Detailed knowledge of specific Compliance principles and processes in thematic reviews, control testing applicability, testing programmes, controls results and reporting. Good understanding of global markets, global banking, securities services and or treasury products Good analytical skills and an ability to translate knowledge and experience into advice and recommendations. Ability to help design effective risk-based testing in a review. Good working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework and its application to banking. Good people management skills and an ability to work with individuals to train them. Excellent written and oral English skills in order to articulate technical issues and effectively communicate with individuals across the business. Computer literacy and a good knowledge of common software e.g. Microsoft Office. Experience of relevant specialist Compliance software.
