Job Opportunity: 2 x Joiners Required – Central Edinburgh We are currently recruiting two skilled and reliable Joiners for an exciting project based in Central Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable contractor on a well-run site, with potential for long-term work for the right individuals. Job Details: * Role: Joiner (2 positions available) * Location: Central Edinburgh (EH postcode) * Start Date: Immediate * Duration: 3–4 weeks initially, with the possibility of ongoing work on other sites * Rate of Pay: £23.00 per hour * Hours: Monday to Friday, approx. 8am – 4.30pm Key Responsibilities: * Sanding and filling of existing internal doors * Preparing surfaces to a high standard prior to painting or sealing * Ensuring a tidy and professional finish throughout the project * Working efficiently and safely within an occupied building/site environment * Collaborating with other trades on site as required ✅ Requirements: * Proven experience in joinery, particularly in fine finishing or refurbishment work * Valid CSCS card preferred (but not always essential, depending on site) * Full PPE required (boots, hi-vis, hard hat, gloves, etc.) * Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently * Good timekeeping and work ethic Contract Extension: While this role is initially for 3–4 weeks, the client has a strong pipeline of work and has advised that high-performing joiners will be offered continued employment on other upcoming projects across Edinburgh and the surrounding areas.
