Contracts Manager/Director (RC Frame/Groundworks) London £130k About the company: This company is a highly regarded and respected privatised specialist sub contractor within Groundworks & RC Frames that have been established for over 30years. Starting out as a Plant Hire contractor, they then moved into small groundworks packages and had a turnover of around £30m before moving heavily into concrete structures back in 2003. Since then they have established themselves as one of the strongest sub contractors in the South East able to deliver the all in one package for their clients, using all their own plant, and having the knowledge and experience to deliver all the demolition, groundworks and frame effectively. Current turnover is £80m, 70% of this is now structures. About the role: This client needs a hands on Contracts manager that is able to work closely and effectively with existing clients as well as being able to forge new relationships with clients, old and new. They require someone from an Engineering background that understands civil engineering, and in particular concrete structures and groundworks, someone that can liase with senior management, commercial and design teams as well as construction managers and engineers. They are seeking someone with a professional attitude, someone that will represent this company with dignity, someone who is able to be articulate when required as well as being able to drive sites and manage them effectively. About the requirements: Must be a degree qualified Civil Engineer Have previous experience/exposure to groundworks and RC frame projects Be able to liase in a professional and coherent way with clients Be able to work under high amounts of pressure with minimal fuss Have worked as a Contracts Manager in a similar company About the benefits: This company is one that rewards hard work, better than most, with a good basic pay and added benefits, that not many companies can match
