Junior Quantity Surveyor – Drywall Sector Location: London & Surrounding Areas Salary: c. £30,000 – £35,000 (DOE) Start Date: ASAP Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent A leading specialist subcontractor within the drywall, ceilings, and partitioning sector is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. The Role The successful candidate will support senior quantity surveyors in the commercial management of drywall projects, assisting with cost reporting, subcontractor management, and financial tracking to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation * Support procurement and administration of subcontract packages * Conduct valuations and assist with cost reporting and forecasting * Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to monthly reports * Work closely with site and project management teams * Help ensure all commercial aspects of projects are delivered to a high standard About You * Ideally 1–2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveying role, preferably within drywall or interior fit-out * Strong Microsoft Excel skills – confident handling spreadsheets, formulas, and reports * Comfortable using general IT systems and keen to learn new platforms * Organised, detail-oriented, and a strong communicator * Motivated and eager to grow within a commercial construction role What’s on Offer * A competitive salary of c. £30,000 – £35,000, depending on experience * Opportunity to work on high-profile commercial and residential projects * Supportive team environment with genuine prospects for progression * Exposure to leading-edge practices in the drywall and interiors sector To Apply: If you're looking to develop your career as a Quantity Surveyor within the drywall sector, we’d love to hear from you.
