Section Engineer

Section Engineer- Infrastructure Projects (East Anglia) Permanent £(phone number removed) BCS connect are currently working with a large civil engineering client who are currently looking for an experienced Section Engineer to join their business on a Permanent Capacity to deliver major infrastructure works across East Anglia This is your chance to take ownership of your section, drive progress on-site, and help deliver complex projects the right way — safely, accurately, and on time. What You’ll Do * Lead sectional setting out and manage service drawings * Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality and compliance * Mentor and manage Junior Engineers * Produce and review method statements and risk assessments * Identify commercial risks and opportunities * Support project documentation, records, and claims * Oversee “as-built” data and contribute to the H&S file * Make sure all work aligns with company standards and policies What You’ll Bring * Strong setting out experience in infrastructure (highways, roads, earthworks) * Proficiency with Leica/Geomax and AutoCAD data transfer * Solid understanding of ITPs and QA processes * A proactive, hands-on attitude with leadership potential * Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Eastern region * First Aid at Work certificate (a bonus) What’s on Offer * Company car or car allowance * Pension Scheme * 25 days holiday bank holidays (option to buy more) * Full training & development support * Cycle-to-work scheme & employee benefits platform * Supportive, inclusive work culture * Regular social events & charity days If you feel you have the relevant skills and experience for this particular role, then please give BCS connect a call
