This is a critical leadership role responsible for driving the technical strategy and ensuring product compliance, safety, and quality across a broad range of electrical product categories. About the Role As the Electrical Engineering Product Manager, you will: Lead and deliver the technical strategy for electrical product categories, driving innovation, customer satisfaction, and compliance. Manage and develop a team of Lead Technologists, Technologists, and Assistant Technologists. Collaborate with commercial, design, sourcing, and sustainability teams to bring outstanding, customer-focused products to market. Ensure that all new product development aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by using customer feedback, complaints, and benchmarking to enhance product quality and performance. Partner with global technical teams, including colleagues in Asia, to ensure production consistency and legal compliance. Deliver strategic product development plans and contribute to wider technical business strategies. Lead best practice and continuous improvement initiatives across the UK and global technical teams. Manage supplier performance and ensure optimal factory capabilities. Drive accountability across your team for new product launches, compliance, and customer satisfaction. Ensure technical documentation, product specifications, and validation procedures are accurate and robust. What We're Looking For Essential: Proven technical and manufacturing experience in electrical products. Deep understanding of product safety, quality, and UK regulatory compliance. Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of coaching high-performing teams. Commercial awareness and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
