Leveraged Finance Legal Counsel

Leveraged Finance Legal Counsel: We have partnered with a leading Japanese bank who are seeking a Leveraged Finance Legal Counsel to support their legal team on an interim basis. The successful candidate will work with a high level of autonomy, providing guidance to deal teams across a wide range of issues, and contributing to the development and execution of strategies to manage contractual, legal, and regulatory risks in alignment with the Bank’s strategic vision, objectives and core values. Duties: Review, draft and negotiate new and existing banking and finance documentation and associated financing and mandate documents for various business stakeholders in the EMEA region Review, draft and negotiate NDA’s, release letters, review legal opinions, conditions precedent and all other deal related documentation Monitor and advise on regulatory matters affecting loans and derivatives Draft and/or review Bank wide standard documentation and drafting other miscellaneous documents Prepare and deliver training, know-how and guidance Key Details: Start Date: ASAP start Contract Length: 6-12 months Location: Hybrid working, London-based Rate: Competitive daily rate If you are interested in applying for this position, or know anyone who may be, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Marnie Andrews on madrews@venngroup.com
