Senior Employee Relations Manager – Europe UK-Based | Hybrid | Financial Services Sector An established organisation within the Financial Services industry is seeking an experienced Senior Employee Relations Manager to join their HR leadership team. This is a unique opportunity to influence and shape the Employee Relations function across multiple European countries within a values-driven and evolving business. This role is suited to a strategic and adaptable ER professional who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and who can lead sensitive and complex employee relations matters. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement a consistent, forward-looking Employee Relations strategy across various European jurisdictions. Provide expert advice on complex ER issues, partnering with senior stakeholders and HR teams. Lead and mentor a small team of ER professionals, ensuring effective delivery of case management and support. Oversee investigations, disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, and performance management with a focus on fairness and compliance. Work closely with legal, compliance, and risk teams to align ER activity with business and regulatory requirements. Use data and insights to proactively manage ER risks and enhance the employee experience. Update and improve employment policies in response to changing laws and diversity objectives. Candidate Profile: Proven experience in senior Employee Relations roles, preferably within Financial Services or regulated sectors. Strong knowledge of UK employment law and experience across European markets, especially Ireland. Skilled at managing complex cases, influencing senior leaders, and delivering results under pressure. Experience in building or enhancing ER teams or functions. Ability to lead a small team and drive cultural and procedural improvements. Comfortable with policy development and applying ER analytics for decision-making. Legal background or qualifications in employment law are advantageous.
