Neo International Partners are proud to be supporting a fast-growing consultancy based in Sheffield in their search for an Operations Director to join their dynamic and expanding team. This consultancy provides expert support across a broad range of infrastructure sectors, including water, highways, transmission & distribution, energy, power, rail, and gas . With ambitious growth plans in place, they are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager or Operations Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role and help shape the future of a rapidly evolving business. As Operations Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and operational performance of the business. This is a pivotal role requiring a strategic thinker who can also execute, manage people, and refine processes. You’ll be a member of the Operations Board and work closely with the leadership team to ensure sustainable growth, team development, and excellent service delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the business to deliver high-quality client outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives. Oversee and improve internal operations, systems, and processes to enhance efficiency and scalability. Ownership and monthly reporting on profit and loss Manage project resourcing, timelines, and budget adherence across client accounts. Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction, managing expectations, and identifying opportunities for value-add or upsell. Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of staff to maintain a high-performing, motivated team. Collaborate with directors on strategic planning, business development, and financial performance monitoring. Maintain compliance with legal, financial, and quality standards. Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration. Develop client quotes, based on an agreed scope of works Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in an operations or leadership role Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Excellent interpersonal and team leadership capabilities. Familiarity with CRM systems, productivity tools, and performance metrics. Commercial acumen with a strategic mindset. A relevant degree or equivalent experience; MBA or further qualification desirable but not essential. Key Attributes Hands-on and proactive. Strong communicator and natural team leader.
