Job Description

Kilnbridge - one of the UK's leading civil engineering and construction specialists are seeking skilled Fire Stoppers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining fire-resistant materials whilst following health and safety regulations. We are hiring Fire stoppers in the following areas Ilford, Kings Cross and West Kensington Days: Mon-Fri Hours: 9.5 hours paid per day Key Responsibilities The Fire Stopper will be expected to: * Install fire barriers, fire wraps, fire collars, and intumescent materials to seal gaps and penetrations in walls and floors. * Read and interpret technical drawings, fire-stopping schematics, and work orders. * Work effectively with site managers, surveyors, and other trades to ensure compliance with fire safety regulations. * Maintain high standards of workmanship while adhering to health and safety protocols. * Complete job records and documentation accurately. Requirements The Fire Stopper will be required to have the following * NVQ Level 2 in Passive Fire Protection or equivalent qualification. * IPAF, Leading EDGE & PASMA are desirbale for the Fire Stopper role. * Proven experience in fire stopping and passive fire protection. * The Fire Stopper will need to have the ability to use hand tools and fire-stopping materials effectively. * Good understanding of relevant fire safety regulations and standards. * Excellent attention to detail and a proactive attitude.
