Class 1 Container Driver

ob Summary: We are seeking a reliable and experienced HGV 1 CONTAINER DRIVER to join our team. You will be required to carry out container deliveries utlising both Felixstowe docks Hence needing a Rhides and DP World card . THIS IS A TRAMPING JOB YOU MUST BE ABLE TO DO NIGHTS OUT ! Duties: - Safely operate a commercial vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations - Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securement - Plan routes and follow delivery schedules - Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, vehicle maintenance, and documentation Requirements: - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - DCPC CARD - Excellent knowledge of traffic laws and regulations - Strong attention to detail and time management skills - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Good communication skills and the ability to work independently If you meet the requirements for this position and are looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity as a Truck Driver, we encourage you to apply.
