Criminal Duty Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is working alongside a highly regarded law firm, based in the Warwickshire area , which is seeking a qualified and experienced Criminal Duty Solicitor to manage a varied caseload of criminal matters, including police station attendances, Magistrates’ Court advocacy, and general criminal defence work. Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 (plus overtime with potential earnings between £60,000 to £80,000) Key Responsibilities of the Duty Solicitor role: Represent clients at police stations, Magistrates’ Courts and, where appropriate, Crown Courts. Attend and manage Criminal Legal Aid Duty Solicitor rota slots. Provide accurate and timely legal advice and advocacy to clients. Contribute to the growth of the department through your own client following or business development, if applicable.
