Compliance & Risk Analyst - Accounting Firm

Meraki Talent are working with a leading professional services organisation to help them identify a Compliance & Risk Analyst, this is a newly created role reporting into the Head of Compliance. Some of your duties will include: Assist in ensuring that a risk and compliance culture is embedded within the organisation by facilitating and organisation training and communication on compliance matters. CDD and AML, processes & procedures Update firmwide risk assessment and policies and procedures on a timely basis Provide clear and accurate reporting with regards to compliance findings and breaches Updating reference templates used for client onboarding solution e.g. engagement/disengagement letters with regulatory updates on a timely basis. Support with putting in place a procedure for identifying all potential conflicts of interest (e.g. audits). Co-ordinate any assessment and identification of the conflicts and work with the team to resolve such conflicts. This may mean declining work or ensuring adequate safeguards are in place. In coordination with the Head of Compliance provide advice and guidance to partners, managers and employees on compliance related queries Understand GDPR requirements and following direction from the Head of Compliance ensure Group compliance risks are managed and any ICO reports are made on a timely basis. Assist with drafting new regulatory guidelines for the company and with the implementation of new regulatory requirements We are looking for: Previous experience of working in an accounting or legal firm or similar essential Previous experience in a Compliance & Risk role in a regulatory environment A good knowledge of CDD and AML processes Excellent Stakeholder Management Skills and Experience Previous GDPR experience highly desirable Hybrid working and lots of benefits, please forward your CV for more details
