Job Title: Commercial Litigation Solicitor Location: Manchester (Hybrid Working Available) Salary: Competitive, DOE Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are seeking a talented and driven Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join a dynamic and well-regarded team based in Manchester . This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor with a strong background in dispute resolution to handle a varied and high-quality caseload of commercial disputes for a diverse client base ranging from SMEs to large corporates. Key Responsibilities Managing a broad caseload of commercial litigation matters including: Contract disputes Shareholder and partnership disputes Professional negligence claims Debt recovery and enforcement Injunctions and interim relief Advising clients from initial instruction through to resolution, including trial or settlement. Drafting pleadings, witness statements, and other court documents. Instructing counsel and attending court hearings. Supporting senior team members on more complex disputes as required. Contributing to business development initiatives and maintaining strong client relationships. Requirements Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (ideally 2–6 years’ PQE, though all levels considered based on experience). Proven experience in handling a range of commercial litigation matters. Strong technical knowledge and sound commercial judgment. Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to manage a busy caseload and meet deadlines. Commercially aware with an interest in business development. Desirable Previous experience working within a regional or national law firm. Exposure to alternative dispute resolution (e.g., mediation, arbitration). Experience with cross-border disputes or international clients is a plus.
