Senior Quantity Surveyor Based - North Kent £60,000 – £80,000 Full-Time | Permanent The Company Our client a leading contractor based in the North Kent area are recruiting for a commercially minded Senior Quantity Surveyor with a background in Demolition, Enabling Works, or Reinforced Concrete (RC) projects. This company have a strong track record of delivering schemes across London and the South East, with a growing pipeline of secured work. The Role: As Senior Quantity Surveyor you will take the commercial lead on large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities: * Commercial management of major demolition, enabling, and RC packages * Oversee costs from pre-construction through to final account * Prepare valuations, cost forecasts, and commercial reports * Manage subcontractor procurement, payments, and contract administration * Ensure compliance with NEC/JCT or bespoke contracts * Collaborate with operational teams and support junior QS staff What You’ll Need: * Recent experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or similar * Strong background in demolition, enabling, or RC structures * Excellent understanding of NEC or JCT forms of contract * Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field * Analytical, organised, and confident in a client-facing environment If you are interested in this opportunity hit “apply” or contact Craig Humphrey at Xenon Recruitment today!
