Procurement Specialist

About the Role: We’re looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist with experience in the medical device industry to join our team. You’ll play a key role in sourcing, supplier development, and ensuring supply chain continuity in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage product end-of-life transitions and source alternatives to ensure supply continuity. Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including obsolescence and long lead-time components. Evaluate and qualify alternative suppliers to support second-source initiatives. Track supplier performance and support audits and quality reviews. Collaborate cross-functionally on NPIs, sourcing compliant materials for new business. Ensure supplier contracts, NDAs, and ISO accreditations are maintained and reviewed. What We’re Looking For: Proven experience in procurement within the medical device or healthcare manufacturing sector. Strong knowledge of MRP systems , supplier management, and regulatory standards (ISO 9001, 13485, FDA). Skilled in cost analysis , BOM evaluation, and sourcing for complex projects. Excellent negotiation and communication skills across cross-functional teams. Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office. CIPS certification or equivalent (preferred).
